Before serving as the librarian at Normal Park Museum Magnet Upper School, I accrued over ten years experience teaching and tutoring English and writing. My experience includes teaching 7th-11th grades and English composition at Covenant College. In June 2008, I had the privilege to attend the Folgers’ Shakespeare Summer Institute where I participated in exciting workshops designed to make drama and literature come alive for students. I am currently completing MTSU’s library science graduate-level certification program. Of course, as a librarian, I love to read, but I also enjoy teaching research skills and writing. At Normal Park, I am sponsor of the Bolt, our upper school newspaper. I am excited and honored to be a part of such an exceptional school environment, a rigorous curriculum, and supportive faculty and student body. I look forward to watching Normal Park continue to excel and impact the education of students in our wonderful city!
