I am fortunate to be completing my second year in the fourth grade at Normal Park Museum Magnet Upper School. Having traveled a lot over the years, Normal Park has been the first school where I truly felt at home. Before moving here, I taught fourth grade in Savannah, Georgia for two years. I also taught fourth grade in Winder, Georgia for one year right after graduating from college.

I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school. During college, I helped with afterschool programs at local elementary schools. I also worked with two year olds at a daycare center. During the summers between school years, I have helped organize tutoring for summer school and worked as a camp counselor at a wildlife refuge in Savannah.
