Except for a break in the late 90’s where I served as an Arabic linguist in the U.S. Army, I’ve been teaching almost nonstop since leaving university. Elementary, middle and high school. English, Spanish and ESL. Public and private. I’ve coached track, water polo and rowing. It’s been quite a ride! But I’d have to say that my most demanding position to date has been as Spanish teacher at NPMM. Every day amazing students and talented colleagues challenge me to be at my best.
