When Normal Park Upper School opened in 2008, I joined the staff as the Family Partnership Specialist. I love working with community partners and helping families connect to the school and earn their volunteer hours. Prior to taking my current position, I served as the Development Director of the Normal Park Education Fund and volunteered for a variety of positions, including PTA President and Normal-Palooza Chair.

Working in education is a second career for me. For several years I worked in marketing and communications for various nonprofits, including Siskin Children's Institute, the Center for Nonprofits, and the Association for Visual Arts. My career also includes working in New York City as a magazine editor and writer specializing in the home decorating field and authoring two books for Country Living magazine.
