Parent-Guardian Commitments | Admissions

All families at Normal Park agree to:

  • Complete 18 parent involvement hours per school year by the April 30th deadline of each year
  • Attend two parent conferences each school year, one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester
  • Make sure their children have good attendance. Ten unexcused absences and twenty unexcused tardies will jeopardize a student's spot for the next school year.
  • Make sure their children follow the standards of acceptable behavior as outlined by the Hamilton County Department of Education's Code of Acceptable Behavior and Discipline Policy. For a copy of the policy, visit www.hcde.org.

Failure to meet the requirements will result in the student losing his or spot in Normal Park and any other Hamilton County Magnet School.
