Ways to get into NPMM:

• Live in the zone
  If you live in the zone and have a child in Kindergarten through 8th grade, stop by Normal Park Museum Magnet Lower School to fill out a registration form. To find out if you live in the zone, visit http://www.hcde.org/schoolzones/zonefinder.aspx All new kindergarten students need to register ASAP!
  
  


• Apply through the lottery
  Visit https://www.hcde.org/magnetapplication/mgstudentinfo.aspx to complete and submit the online magnet school application. All written applications must be delivered to the Hamilton County Magnet Schools Office by mail or in person. The deadline to turn in applications is January 31, 2008. Siblings and downtown worksites get priority in the lottery. To find out if your workplace is one of the specified sites, check page 2 of the magnet school application.
  
  


• Pre-Kindergarten
  The Pre-K class that will begin in August, 2008 is already full with 70 names on the waiting list. We will begin taking names for the 2009 class on May 1st. To register for this class, you must call the school beginning at 8AM on Thursday, May 1st, 2008. We run this process like a radio station contest so interested parents should continue to call until they get through. We will not take names from walk-in parents, there will be no camping out. We will take enough names to fill our class and then we will begin our waiting list.
