Parents at all Hamilton County Magnet Schools are required to volunteer a minimum of 18 hours each school year. One great way to get involved at NPMM is to join the PTA! NPMM PTA hosts two major fundraisers each year - Normalpalooza (October 28, 2006) and the Spring Auction (April 13, 2007) - which help support a variety of school projects and programs. During the 2005-2006 school year, the NPMM PTA raised almost $300,000 to construct "Discovery Playground," a new, outdoor playspace and community park.
